They paid 175k for FoxRox as a marketing/publicity stunt. This account was only up 36k before rakeback. I find it hard to believe that IbetUfoldt took anywhere near 25k out of ecosystem as well given how few hands this account played. On the one hand some accounts are being paid out far more than they could have affected real players, on the other hand some accounts like full5speed that may have taken over 1 million dollars out of ecosystem are being paid out nothing?

So, they are arbitrarily distributing money without quantifying who deserves what amount, while blasting people's inboxes with minuscule amounts updating them about how many more bots they've gotten rid of?
Seems like shooting from the hip trying to save face while making it explicitly clear that they really dont have to do anything and we should be grateful they are even policing such an issue.

So whats stopping these ppl/bots returning under new accounts/IPs? There needs to be some serious effort put into bot detection moving forward.

I have played so many hands vs these accounts. Its basically a list of the whos who of MTT 'regs' im sure there is still many out there too that have similar stats / styles, never can be too sure playing online these days

I guess we should worry more when they decide that "anonymous" play is the way to go.

I would be completely shocked if IGN wasn't 50%+ bots.

I actually stayed despite the bots, and have been refunded a decent amount given the micro stakes i was playing. I had a decent winrate, so all these bots were pretty easy to play against.

But after that interview with the CEO, I'm out.

On his recent podcast with Joey, Phil Nagy said that this new client would assist WPN with bot detection. He's said a lot of **** though, so we'll see if it actually helps get rid of them or not in the weeks and months to come. I'm glad they've been transparent with banned bot accounts even if the refund system isn't good, and this is coming from someone who lost much, much more to an account that was banned than the 2 1/2 BI's I received from the recent bans that occurred on the 15th.
