All you have to do is look at the evidence. For all you non-readers, a good start is the History Channel documentary "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" done in the 70's. You can find all episodes on you tube. There are 9 episodes.
This would mean nothing to me. The 6.5×52mm Mannlicher-Carcano rifle that Oswald used was a bolt action, you wouldn't get the gas on your hands the same as you would using a revolver or semi-auto pistol or rifle. Also, it's hard to lift prints off a well oiled firearm. We don't know what all variances and circumstances were that pertained to the evidence in 1963.
