17 wsop cashes (3 final tables) since 2010 totaling more than half a million, that sounds noteworthy. 9 in 2010 , 3 in 2011, 5 so far 2012.

You would need at least a few articles written about you from reputable poker sites: pokernews, pokerlistings, cardplayer, bluff etc. If any mainstream media you're golden.

If no articles then ur kinda SOL. That is the basis for notability and notability is the basis for inclusion in the encyclopedia. This is the reason the threshold for women poker players is much lower than men in terms of accomplishments - the media tends to write about them a lot more.

One way to think of Wikipedia is a collection of data from all reputable published sources out there - not necessarily facts. That is why you can't always trust what you read there as accurate and at the same time that can never be fixed. The articles are only as good as the sources they cite.

I so want this to be true!

There is no way to prove it concretely, but I do have many respected and honest friends that have little to gain, but will back the truth of the matter. It was just an inside joke for a few years until it became a household name as of late.

Allen, if you recall during the deep run you had at Foxwoods a couple years back, I was working for PokerWire. I had been using a graphic that said "intimidator" to describe the number of pots you were winning without contest (http://www.pokerwire.com/results.php...ator&uid=28149), which seemed unusual given your reputation as a tight player.

A friend of mine, Thomas Fuller (Gnightmoon), sent me an Instant Message that told me that he and his friends actually referred to you as "Chainsaw" which came from one of GambleGambel's old online poker screennames. I passed this information on to a slightly inebriated Gavin Smith (who, if I recall, was doing prop bets with Vince Van Patten at the time) who began using it on PokerWire Radio.

I've tried telling Gavin a few times that he did not, in fact, create your now famous nickname. Thomas actually sent an email to Pokerroad awhile back, but Gavin remembered the story differently. And he punches a lot harder than Thomas, so I stopped arguing with him.

Why are you replying to threads without reading the OP properly? If you had, you would have noticed that the source was Kessler's own tweet. A tweet that was shown on the pokernews twitter feed on the reporting page.

With regards to your first comment, I very very much doubt it....

You're a legend in your own mind Allen. Habitually taking money from your sister in order to feed your min-cashing and penny slot habit.

Where Are They Now - Allen Kessler

When someone mentions AK at the poker table, your first thought is about two cards, an Ace and a King, not about Allen ‘Chainsaw’ Kessler. He always seems so surprised when people recognize him at the poker table—when in fact, between the boys from PokerRoad Radio and his excessively sniveling-whiny posts on 2+2; ‘Chainsaw’ is practically a global phenomenon.

The only non poker tournament database reference to Allen Kessler on my newly installed laptop's non logged into google chrome.

Pretty clear why wikipedia isn't interested.

No tournament wins over $100,000 is not noteworthy.

I came in second three times at wsop. Highest payout in those was close to $300,000. Hope to get heads up a few more times for a bracelet.

If you have to put yourself in Wikipedia what does that say about you and your "fame"

You aren't supposed to create a page for yourself or people you know. But yes, someone could create one for you. I'm guessing you have the winnings to justify it.
