That's not what is happening here.
In short, I understand that Cary Katz is effetively suing himself to avoid needing to honour his debt that he owes to Mark Steyn.
Katz's behaviour here has been quite remarkable - he initially contracted with Steyn for Steyn to do work presenting a show on CRTV. His company, CRTV, were not able to make it happen. Katz then took Steyn to arbitration, and the arbiter found against Katz completely. Then, despite being the one to propose the arbitration, and agreeing to abide by the outcome, he reneged on his agreement, and instead litigated against Steyn. The court then found almost entirely in Steyn's favour. Then, instead of paying the money owed to Steyn determined by the court, Katz is now suing his own company, with the goal to avoid paying Steyn.
