There's no money in poker videos. Everyone's solid.

CardRunners was a fantastic resource in its day and every interaction I've ever had with the people there, Taylor, Brian, Brian, Alex, Cole -- everybody -- has been a pleasure.

Congratulations on what you all accomplished and godspeed.

I always thought ChipsAhoya's stud videos were good. GG CardRunners. Best of luck to all involved.

Current estimates put the maximum number of Neanderthals alive at any one time across Europe at a mere 70,000 before their extinction 40k years ago. And the Toba catastrophe 70k years ago is theorized to have dropped the proto-Human population down to less than 10,000. So even starting the clock on humanity a bit before 50k years ago, the number just don't add up all that quickly. Otherwise, we're only talking ~2,500 generations. And any time before 5k years ago, the average human life was, as they say, "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short".

So given all that, Cardrunners subscription numbers were a rousing success.

Thanks for the memories guys.

Going out as you came in, with class and respect to your user base. Very few in the industry can say that.

Thanks Taylor Caby.
Yours and Aba's videos were the first poker videos I watched in my life. Still owe you gratitude for that. You deserve part of the credit for having created several poker millionaires.

Madlex: pretty sure nobody cares if I talk about ancient history now lol - we never quite got to 10k active subscribers and then Black Friday happened
Everybody has their time.

You at DC also did a great job back then, just charged way too little (imo) compared to the value delivered back in the time compared to all options and how learning technology in the scene was used.

CR was the first training source I turned to after 2006 poker legislation happened, and I realized for a year just how bad I was at poker. Met a lot of great people there, met 3 of the groomsmen in my wedding on there, learned a ton, and was able to help some people. Will really miss it. Maybe one of these years a poker bill will be passed to help grow the game again.

Sad in way, remember back in the day subscribing and being amazed at Green Plastic, Action Jeff, Timex, Hastings & so on. I guess the landscape has changed a lot these days with top players streaming for free on twitch , tons of poker fundamentals on youtube etc.
