sorry guys, not PM'ing the link to anybody except mods who are interested in doing some digging/getting the site taken down. If you played on UB, you should assume you're on the list.

Thanks for this.

will this have any implications if they actually liquidate their assets? Why would anyone pay for their player list now if they can get it for free or at a very discounted price?

AP is back up, I can log in now.
12-03-2011 , 01:04 AM
While AP and UB were obviously merged, did they operate as separate skins? It is surprising that the private data was just UB. Almost just seems like a coincidence or that AP will soon follow. Am I wrong here? Are they really more separate than just simply a single entity?

thank god. was worried. need to cashout.
12-03-2011 , 04:50 AM
Since this info has been leaked Ive had a few issues with my PC. I've been getting popups saying another computer is using my IP address and Ive had purchase made on one of my non-Poker accounts for an item I didn't buy. May be a coincidence but worrying none the less. Anyone else experienced any dodgy activity recently?

Yes the targeted marketing is a lot smarter nowadays, they really do get it to the right people. I've been getting spam about penis size reduction surgery

WTF? Is there ever going to be any news from the KGC or the DOJ about this supposed liquidation? Is there any chance of the DOJ releasing frozen funds to be distributed to players? Haven't heard a word from anyone in over a month. Is it game over?

No I don't think it is game over. But this does show what we allready knew. DOj, KGC or Cereus don't care about the players as much as they care about themselves and they prefer being 100% on the safe side, so they keep their mouths shut.

The DOJ cares more about getting their fine money, putting the top of Cereus in jail and they are very carefull not to make it a diffcult political situation for themselves. If they said that they don't mind that the players will be screwed all hell would brake loose, so they just keep silent.

KGC is a shady operation to begin with and they just want to keep raking in money for offering non existent protection for players. Mainly they want to avoid being held responsible for this whole mess.

At this point I have no idea what Cereus is even trying to achieve. Keeping the site open, paying out small soms here and there, not communicating at all,...? They are buying time, but for what I don't know. If you plan on shutting it all down and run for it, why do it so slowly?

I don't understand what some info from either of these organisations could hurt anybody at this point. But it seems they took the lawyerish approach of not saying anything, then taking the 0.001% chance that any comment would have a negative impact for the future.
12-06-2011 , 08:06 AM
Well said Hicham. I emailed the KGC and they responded back by saying that any updates would be provided on the website. LOLOLO What a freakin joke. I also called them and they refused to let me talk to anyone. I couldn't get past talking to the secretary. It just seems as if there is no timetable for any developments whatsoever.
I'm not even sure who we are waiting to hear from at this point.
12-06-2011 , 09:50 AM
Imo if the site is still opened there is only one reason,

they wait for USA to get a regulation so they can negociate to get back in this market, and be able to pay their fine to the DOJ and maybe the money back to players if this process coudl work out.

Just my thoughts, that s what make the more sens to me, if someone has a different view I'm still opened ...

And maybe we saw UB players database lately on the net because someone from the company tried to break a deal for UB to not get bought before the US market get legalized.

Ok pretty deep and twisted speculative thoughts but it's a possibility.

You are right vulcain999. Things happen for a reason. Very unethical choice though.

Looks like the mtt sng's are not running - can't understand why not since they make a little on each one.

Also, the 1 table SNG's don't seem to kick off running once they get to the # required players. I can see that running the GTD's with overlay was a losing venture, but wtf they don't even run the games that pull in some rake.

I would guess the main reason to be gross incompetence on the part of Cereus or just lack of manpower. They have let go almost their entire It staff. IT security will be a much lower priority as usual I would think. Especially if employees know the company is dying and must likely have trouble getting their paychecks every month.

I have also had weird pop ups on my computer asking for log ins and such. Pretty much giving up on any hope of getting paid is bad enough.

Does anyone know if this info can be used for anything more detrimental than spam production? IE one guy posted and unauthorized purchase on one of his accounts?

EU players could play each other to rake their money out to an external rakeback provider, 30% on the $ is better than most of the offers i've seen.

AP would have to pay the rakeback provider first

Not going to click on that.

If you account was on UB much of your personal information was stolen. Change all your passwords and don't try to log into any pseudo-Cereus looking software.
