anyone wanna bet that he will/won't take the bet.

I can lay 2:1 that he won't take any bets being offered (the bet would need to be 100% on) up to say end of March.

Why such bad odds on a bet that is less than 3% to go down? I would still take 25-1, reluctantly, since it’s unlikely I’ll find better deal for the time being

As stated above, if he had 500K in action sure it would be easy to hire a coach for 100K.

Now if he agrees to not hire a coach or study GTO (which he constantly rails against) and just plays by feel as he claims then it seems a solid bet.
I would def put a time frame in the bet so he doesn't pull a Duuurrr.

No, they are not magicians, but he's already a decent player, he can probably beat z100 right now (I watched MMAsherdog's review of his game and he got the fundamentals right). And I think with the right people around him + grinding pio intensely for 6 months , he could beat z500. I think the question was if he can beat z500 right now, IMO the answer is no.

Look at buttonclicker, he only started playing poker 2 years ago and now he's top 5 in the world.

@phoebe123, I'm not a Charlie fan, but that's not really fair. Take Doug for instance, he said he would crush Daniel heads up, but he still hired an army of people to help him out.

It's a bit different though as I'm sure part of their mutual agreement involved agreeing that coaching was fine.

Similarly, I wouldn't agree to bet against Charlie if he received a bunch of coaching - Hence the "fine print"

I don't really see what's unfair about this.
