Tuned into charlies stream yesterday and he was discussing how 50k hands 2 tabling zoom would take way too long and its too many hands since he doesn't have enough time to spend on poker and how 25-30k seemed more realistic.


Didn't watch long enough but maybe hes just going to do this 'challenge' on his own with no prop bet if anything was ever going to happen

I seem to remember something similar to this happening recently. How did that turn out?

Assuming escrow/clear terms and 100k hands min I'd bet a decent size against. Seems like he'd get 200k in action very easily if serious.

How is anything significantly under 100k hands played anything other than a variance fest? I feel like 100k hands should be the min for a bet like this.

Hard to get a lot of hands in. Right now only 10 people play, 4 entries each, all decent regulars

1.) +1bb/100 winner after 50k hands
2.) trustworthy escrow / money upfront
3.) 4 tabling, minimum 4 hours on a playing day with one break allowed
4.) streaming with two webcams (screen & monitor), non streamed hands are not counting
5.) time frame max. 90 days

If 500z is so hard, why are the regs in that game wasting their time when there are so many other options out there?

Can’t you say that about any game that runs regularly . I just assume that it’s a few folks passing money around and an occasional fish

I was getting the impression from this thread that it was much harder than 500nl elsewhere online, which is pretty good IMO

Better options may not always be present, so there may be no place to play that is profitable at all times. I would assume that many people are like GingePoker in that they play higher live or elsewhere when games run, but it is a great place to stay sharp as the game is always available. If you are a high stakes reg you can play a few hours a week to stay sharp and have thousands of hands and scenarios to run and review. With rakeback, even if you are a small loser, you can plug your leaks against some of the better NL players in the world for very little cost, which will then allow you to crush in the bigger games you may play.

If you are a 3 bb loser, it costs you $3K to play 20k hands. Get some rakeback and you are at a lesser amount. If that causes your winrate to go up when playing hundreds of hours at 10/20 or higher then it is a worthy investment.

I could definitely see some higher stakes guys joining the pool to **** with Charlie if this bet were to actually take place. Not sure how to get around that.

There would probably be something in the rules where he doesn't have to play in the pool against non regs if he doesn't want to.
