Maybe it just looks this way to me, but usually the dealers incompetence is a direct correlation with the quality of the cards dealt to the player.

Have never multi-accounted or account-shared, nor have I used a VPN.

A total of 544 people have posted in this thread. One is Hastings himself. So of the 542 other people (I also excluded you), if there are 55 people in this thread who also have never done either act, your estimate is high.

Although using a VPN, as has been stated already, is not in and of itself an act that makes one hypocritical.

Fwiw I was 100% polite, and I tried to verbally help first but it didn't help. Just super over coaching dealers in every tourney. A grind.
At risk of being nitty, has anyone ever non-verbally helped a dealer? I guess those on the National Deaf Poker Tour.

You do realize that many players "reside" in the US and still play when they leave the country right?

I have never used a VPN or had multiple accounts. I think that Brian Hastings is scum for some of the things he does. But the best part is the fact his behavior shows he does not care. He knows he is disliked, but I guess anything to make a buck.

The High Stakes regs (most?) are not particularly bothered by what he did/does because they have behaved in the same/similar manner in the past with various degrees of scumminess.

Those most upset are the recreational/aspirational players who have come to realize from BH's actions and the defenses/rationalizations of it by High Stakes regs that if they play those games they can look forward to being cheated to one degree or another sooner or later.

There is a lot of colluding that goes in during high stakes games, live and online.

Of course, but they use their own account, which is my exact point.
They can ban the Stinger and NH accounts but not any others that he chooses to buy.

When were the Gee Liberty halycon days on FTP?

2007? Gee was basically playing 3 teams by himself lol.

So Johnny Lodden thingie happened before that so blatant colluding/cheating/angling has been going on since pretty much online poker.

I remember in Irish Eyes Poker you could walk into a internet cafe and you were allowed enter many different accounts into the same tourney. This was in the poker boom ~2007 and the place was full of people doing it. You could even deposit on the counter no need for a card

curious to know if they sent that email out to all accounts or just some. cant help but wonder if the email was sent selectively to some they deem as possible/likely offenders in some way.

I've never played much volume on stars/obviously haven't vpned or anything so no clue. Thought they might have sent it to everybody after the attention this thread has received.

When asked why on these forums, he has repeatedly ignored the Q. His "rationale", if you want to call it that, has been nothing more than "because how could they not!!eleven!!!???!!". Assume he provided 0 in the way of proof on the podcast as well.

I really hope @WSOP does the right thing and starts a players committee to help work thru the issues. W/o it I will play v little in future.
Brian making this public is horrible for the game of poker. He should have kept it quiet and sent a PM to the dealer to work out mutually-agreeable reparations.

Zero benefit for stars letting BH fly under teh radar, huge downfall if it comes out they knew and give him a freepass...

Stars isnt run by a bunch of ******s, teh majority of those guys is fairly smart.

Limon is an entertaining kid but sometimes he should just zip it

OR PROVIDE A REASONABLE THEORY WHY STARS KNEW...
