While I do not care much about what happens to Hastings. It is bothersome that pokerstars does not make SOME statement about this big of an issue that directly or indirectly involves some of their named pro's in a situation which breaks their TOS and is considered cheating. Not everyone plays with a HUD and it shouldnt be up to the players to determine who is/isnt cheating or violating terms of service. And paid sponsors of the site should be reporting players they know are knowingly breaking the terms of their sponsor. If I was worried about integrity and it was my company, I would be awfully annoyed that someone I sponsored did not report it to me. More worried about it being commonplace. Not making any statement isnt going to alleviate the issue if they are silently condoning it yet want poker to be regulated.

Please tell me this was someone trolling Hastings.

Thanks. I sent a few tweets and haven't heard back yet. This is really, really disappointing and discouraging. Stars has always had top notch customer service but to allow this to go unpunished is enough for me to stay away should they ever re-enter the US market (#butfreedom).

Stars doesnt think taht this is important in my opinion.This is important for some of the pros who play there and NOT for the recreational players(which is their MAIN target) so they wont do anything.The regs will continue to play there (never heard somebody quit playing stars becaouse of this scandal)-Isidur is still playing like Ivey and the other pros right?

Someone had posted a link from CalvinAyre earlier itt about Hastings that had a link to a video done by Tim James about what a hairy nutsack Sheldon Adelson is.

I clicked on the video as I thought it would be interesting. For about the first half of the video he played clips of an interview Adelson did for Bloomberg and gave his rebuttals to what he was saying. He also sent an underage girl into one of Adelson's casinos to show how easy it was for an underage person to be able to gamble and drink there. Then he had a guest poker professional on to discuss the issue of online poker in the United States. You guessed it...Brian "Noel" Hayestings.

The video was posted on YouTube on August 20th. I find it hard to believe that someone who is a proven cheater at online poker is invited as a guest to advocate bringing online poker back to the United States. Am I crazy to think this is dripping with hypocrisy and is likely to do more harm than good for the cause?

Remember when you were 5 years old and there were 5 cookies left in the jar and your mother said not to eat them, then she leaves for 3 minutes and comes back to no cookies.
