Silence and rationalization only benefits the cheaters at the expense of the game and everyone else.
Am I correct, Ike?
I think most of us agree on that. Ike's small error of omission (not immediately passing the details of Hasting's MA-ing to the security team) has got him into "trouble", and it seems he regrets the mistake and will be more careful in future.
I'm relieved that there doesn't appear to have been any active abuse of the information by Haxton. It would have been brutal if Ike turned out to
be a cheat (which HWC still seems to be claiming), rather than merely possess knowledge of cheating.
Hopefully the culture is changing and well known players will speak out (like Bakes did) and not keep up with the code of silence. Turning a blind eye to cheats like Hastings is not a good option.
