I started this thread to gather information about where Brandon can be found and who / what he owes people.

Looks like quite a few people from the forum have been had by this guy. I am currently owed $5000 from Brandon, I sent funds on stars around 3 weeks ago and have still not received a bank transfer from him.

Brandon seems to be a reasonably well know poker poker with both online and live success.

I would hope Brandon will appear and pay people back but he seems to of disappeared.

Hey, sorry to hear. I would of put a post up but I agreed with him to send after the holidays. His payment is only actually a few days late to me (was expecting it on the 6th).

Seems like he owes a lot of people and gave them all the run around.

I sent him a lot more boa than just those xfers i posted on hsnl going back for a while. So it's possible that 3 weeks ago thing was also sent to me.

Isn't this the insecure kid who likes to brag and show off such as how much tournament winnings he had live before the age of 19 or something and he was 19 or so? I think this kid looks like hes 12 if im not mistaken?


And creating a thread about how he couldnt attend the wsop this year because of age restrictions? Instead of just saying how he cant play in wsop because he isn't old enough or not even mention it all, he mentioned age restrictions so to make himself look good or something? After reading the first few posts I feel like this story is relevant so I will share it.

I have staked people for the past 4-5 years, a few years back Brandon asked for a stake for 2/4-10/20 NLHE and high stakes MTTs. We talked a couple times but I ended up declining. I think I have talked to him once or twice since then.

The other day (maybe 1-2 weeks ago) he IMed me, probably for the first time in a year or so, and was acting realllllly weird. He was spelling every other word wrong and typing weird things. It was so odd that I just came out and said "It feels like you've been hacked, I'm not sending you any money so don't waste your time." He responded with "lol I've just been up 30 hours straight is all. I'll send you a message on 2p2 to prove it's me." He did so.

We talked for a little bit, he told me he went on a huge heater about a year ago (which checks out) and has been on a huge downswing since.

The conversation as a whole was pretty strange, probably because he was up for a long time. But he kept giving me freerolls for $100, like "guess what I'm eating right now 3 guesses, $100 freeroll" and "guess my weight +-5 pounds, $100 freeroll", etc. I really felt the whole time like he was going to ask me for something. Eventually, he kind of did. He asked me if I did live staking a couple of times and made mention several times that the 2/5 games around him were super soft and how he wished he had the bankroll to play them. Although he never directly asked me for a stake, it felt like he was asking.

I write this story because like I said it was extremely strange to me at the time and when I read the OP it made more sense. I've never done any business with Brandon so I can't say he is a scammer, or has malicious intent, but given the information in the posts before me and the timing of his conversation with me, I think it's safe to say people should avoid doing business with him until these issues above are sorted out.

Is there a reason no one spoke up before OP? Does HSNL/MTTc have that Blue Code of Silence thing going on where they don't out their own?

... yep thats one thing right now that makes me angry the most. For me its a very big amount of money in the moment and have to pay rent and bills and have no clue right now how to pay for that stuff. I wouldnt care much at all when this happens a few years ago when i had solid income from poker , but iam currently looking for a new job etc. so in the moment iam totally lost. Iam Angry about myself to make a "trade" with him and very pissed of the guys that had troubles with him before and have never ever mentioned it here. if that happen i wouldnt be scammed and wouldnt have to take another job or something similiar to get something to eat/pay my bills.

Yeah I am not sure why nobody made posts before. I only clicked something was up when I looked in the highstakes xfer thread and realised my payment was a couple of days late. I do a bunch of trades and sometimes they take a little longer than planned.

We made a prophet one time on number of entrants a couple days in advance and he paid me

well, i waited bc my choices were to out him and save other people while 100% screwing myself out of $5k, or try and work with him and have a better shot at my $5k. I chose the latter, and it resulted in a $3k recovery. I am sorry that other people got taken by the dude, but I stand by my decision and would do it again. If I don't hear from him by the end of the day, I'll post all of his relevant information that I have here. Email, BBM, AIM, Phone #.

would really like to get a message from him. hes not responding at all. only get messages from gonzo1984. maybe hes a friend of him and can visit him or someone else can arrange a meeting.

FML. I sent 3k€ on 1st of January. He didn't reply later but I got a message on monday that he got ill very badly and will go back to US for surgery. He said I could expect the money in a couple days. Haven't received anything so far. My plan was to wait until monday but now someone alerted me. That really sucks.

Have to agree with uber here. Giving a guy with no known history of problems a few weeks till after the holidays to straighten things out is not unreasonable. It isn't like he waited nine months. It's not like he knew CD was lying. People that are mad he didn't do what would be in their best interests because he did what was in his best interests are not being fair. If he took a hard line and posted something inflammatory against complete donk the minute CD was late it would have backfired. More then likely a bunch of people would have posted comments supporting CD and smashing uber. Even more likely is he would have angered CD and never seen the 3k he did recover. If you think I am wrong just look at the first day of the Jay Newnum thread, evidence there was overwhelming and he still had an army of supporters and well wishes.

It is a frustrating circumstance and the victims certainly should not be angry at each other. Hopefully this young guy can straighten things out. He is young and is not in that big a whole.

I don't get that logic. If you are 100% to get screwed if you aren't getting paid by a guy, then all you do is enabling him to scam more. You either think guy is generally to be trusted but something went wrong, but he wants to make good without conditions because it's the right thing to do.

Or you do not. That's at least bordering to a conscious decision to help him keeping up the illusion of trustworthiness.

How much of the $3000 you received was scammed from other people, and how much more did he take since then?

If people that got scammed because you didn't want to risk your money demanded a refund, would you say that they were completely unreasonable?

He scammed me around the same time as the fantasy football escrow stuff (was also in those leagues) he had paid me back some but still owes me a fair amount.

Still blows my mind people transfer money to ppl they dont know.

If you wanted a transfer from me, you'd have to be someone Ive known for years and interact with day to day and could drive to your house and kick your ass if u bailed.

You are a POS to the most literal sense. Your rational is not only wrong, but proves to any outsider or person with any bit of integrity that most poker players are scum. You were only thinking of yourself (not a huge deal from a poker player) while also knowing there was a good chance if you were getting scammed others were as well and you wanted to get paid (regardless of where the funds come from) before blowing the whistle.

A member in this thread said they shipped 3k recently to this bozo. If he shipped BEFORE you were paid the 3k by this scammer I call for you to pay back said person immediately due to the logical reasoning the funds most likely came from a different victim.

This! Looks like Brandon has been borrowing from other to pay the people back that would out him.

When was the last time anyone heard from him?
