I'll add a few things.
For those unwilling, or unable to read the thread. A summary:
- BA had discovered a way of cheating/colluding on UB. He mentioned this off-hand in one email he sent to a friend.
- A year later that friend sent the email to Prahlad, who then assumed that talking of cheating implies an actual intent to cheat.
- BA acknowledges the email, what he said, and even tells Prahlad to post said email (he no longer has it). He feels he has done nothing wrong; there was never any set plan to cheat, rather it was just "two sentences" mentioning the vulnerabilities of the software. Prahlad Friedman doesn't post the email.
It never develops past that. Also,
- Before all of this, apparently while playing high limits, BA had switched seats and bought in short before. This infuriated Prahlad. Once BA found out, he had emailed Prahlad telling him he would never do it again.
- Fastforward, and they're in the middle of a grudge-match. They plan to play the next day HU, but when BA shows up to play, Prahlad is sitting at a 3-handed game higher than the limits they had agreed upon. BA sits down at the table to ask what's going on and if Prahlad plans on playing. He buys in short, claiming 1) He doesn't have a lot of money in his account. 2) The money he does have is spread across the tables, while he's waiting for Prahlad to sit. Naturally, Prahlad hits the ceiling, and starts crying about what a compulsive liar BA is about buying in short, and is the biggest cheating scumbag that ever lived.
That's it. And if you don't want to read that, I'll summarize the above:
- Prahlad Friedman is a dimwit, and BA never cheated in any way, shape, or form.
