Does this imply that David Sklansky can and does read messages sent via the private messaging system here? How would he know that hundreds of people have written to BOTC about this situation? This smells like a scandal.

According to one of the mods, BTOC is the same person as brtinla. brtinla made similar posts defending Brandi with seemingly inside information back in August, and maybe even earlier. The language used seems to confirm that BTOC = brtinla.

BTOC's first post was Jan. 15, 2008. Did Brandi give you the impression that BTOC first contacted her through the internet within the last month or during this latest drama? Or did she say that he had been admiring her from afar for the last five months?

I hope through your correspondence with this girl you can help Brandi make some form of restitution to to brandon. Hopefully at least for the purple heart and any other ancillary sentimental items. I think that a gesture like that would go a long way. Perhaps Brandi can see the +EV in doing so. It's not the fact she robbed him so much, rather how she did it and what she took that is so odious.

Anyone who chooses to maintain a friendship with this girl after all that is known and without her being sorry is truly a fool of monumental stature.

Clearly you haven't read the whole thread.

I'm just as guilty as the rest of you reading this - it's riveting. However, I'm more looking at it like the train-wreck that it truly is. For instance, I know that BTOC is Brandi, and refuse to suspend reality to rationalize anything else.

My point is that while David claims he is not being manipulated by Brandi, by posting threads like this one, he is.

It's what SHE wants. To fall into it is one thing, but to claim that you are immune in the process is just foolhardy.
