I think the bot's programmers took a lot of time adapting it to the plays they saw, they had 1 year and 80k hands, by watching how pros play, you can see a lot of things that they don't do, like donkbetting, double check-raises, maybe that's the solution to beat the bot, since it didn't have much work on that part of the game

also this match isn't a bot match only vs pro players, there's a team of like 10 people in there that built that computer, they probably did their homework.

the best way people can exploit a computer is to try to find its bugs, I'm sure there are a **** ton of bugs in Libratus, maybe making weird betsizes like 33% of the pot, 200%, donkbetting, raising OTF and then checking for a value check-raise is the way to go.

The computer should have been capable of pasting them last year.

I assume this year, it's a battle between how sensible the bots developers have made their abstractions and how fast the humans can find some of the dumber abstractions.
So it's not really a battle of Brains v AI.

Trying to exploit some of it's mistakes without giving them away so they can't be patched. Maybe save them for important spots like Agassi tried to do with Becker's tongue.
