I wonder how many people who never used bots got wrongly accused on less evidence than exists in this case.

I'm guessing that it didn't occur to anyone to send a CAPTCHA to Ivan before the tourney was restarted.

Playing with hypothetical numbers:

Advanced bot user has 50 accounts running bots for about 10 hours each day. Each bot generates about $3 per hour in rake for PS. $150/hr in rake to PS. $1,500/day in rake to PS. Roughly $500,000/yr in rake to PS. 1 advanced bot user.

If I am PS I am doing the exact opposite of trying to find and publicize that a bot finished 2nd here.

Bots are a dream to PS

They generate tons of rake and when they try to cashout PS can say "you are a bot, no cashoutz for you baby"

So they will keep all bots working until they try to cashout

The more the bots win more happy is PS

That must be why they're doing everything possible to attract more and more high volume grinders to the site.

Where does he live, and where do most of these bots operate from? How does it work exactly...and what exactly is a "bot" if it needs a human to "run it" for them and click buttons(?)

Also who's this bot millionaire guy and how do you know who he is?

Pretty sure stars is combating these type of humans so them allowing bots for this reason is highly doubtful.

That's the current state of online poker, I truely believe some of these bots are even run by the poker companies.

There are obvious bots playing on Ipoker and they also don't give a s*** ....

It was a bot that typed this. Both instances of "the" were spelled correctly.

I could shame the manager running the bots with it's linked profile, but as i said, the poker community loves to say bots dont exist, bots suck therefore im not gonna do it for those reasons.

sounds like Adjarabet

Extremely shady yes,a bot? No solid proof this account is (not saying it isn't) I would think stars had really good detection on these sort of things especially after the plo discovery, does anyone know what bot profiles were the Omaha winning bots? I guess we will never find out

Sounds like a case of you having already decided what people think and thus only noticing posts that back up your viewpoint, but those posts are very much in the minority.

Good point - is the observed behaviour (i.e. clicking the box but not typing, then continuing to play on a mouse on the other table) consistent with him having a mouse not a keyboard, and his phone turned off?

I know it sounds unlikely, but the observed behaviour is already unlikely.
