This happened last night at the final table of the TCOOP 08

I forgot to mention that the suspected bot was playing in other tournaments during the "negotiation" of the deal. Apart from that, the deal negotiation was taking quite some time.

Also he could've just turned chat off. I had that once and wondered why it took so long for deal negotiations to start...
But it's strange that he didn't respond for that long.

He didn't answer to private chat or his phone either.

Did the other player have discuss a deal checked? It seems strange they can pause the tournament unless both agree to a break.

57 minutes and IvanHaldi didn't realize there must of been some kind of problem??? lol Did he think it was just a dinner break or something?

It seems he's suggesting that brings into question the bot accusation.

What a weird bustout hand. Must've either been a clueless rec who had chat turned off and didn't know tthe "Make a deal" option would trigger a chat negotiation (less chance of this since he was multitabling), or it was indeed a bot.

Just FYI a stars employee won't necessarily know the capabilities of any bot, and there can definitely be bots who have the option to tick that box, though it's a weird option to use if you're not gonna be able to make a deal.

Maybe the player just forgot about the TCOOP game? I mean, he was multi-tabling. Its not like that particular table would be of any significance to him.

lol no that's really impossible. He was playing his hands right before and after the deal negotiation.... :-)

Isn't it more likely that he's stacking tables?

Click deal when short earlier on at FT, multi-table stacking, deal negs hit but the table doesn't pop back up?

Doesn't really explain how you can miss a TCOOP FT though... must have been pretty out of it!

How exactly do these chat windows happen - is it in the same chat box that's on the table or is there a special pop-up? I have my chat window minimized and even then I set it for Dealer Messages only. So I would have missed this conversation too, right? I don't see the messages and I'm not a bot - could be the same thing in this scenario.

Could be, but as you said, once you reach a big FT, I think your both eyes are watching that table with 200% focus.

He didnt answer his private chat messages from the support and neither did he answer his phone calls from stars...

Looking at all those arguments, I dont think its even possible to doubt about it, but that's just my opinion of course...

The deal negotiation is in the standard chat window. And on the table is written that the tournament is on break to discuss a deal.

I have no idea how the private messages of the support look like though. I have no experience with that. But it would make sense that those messages will come up in a special pop-up.

He somehow must of been more focused on the Hot $44 (he finished 52/1116 for $129) which started while he was on the FT.

What if his/her keyboard was not working? What were his bet sizes? Were it random/odd figured or were they round numbers?

What if he/she got chat banned? But wouldn't the host know if he was chat ban?

Also when PokerStars 7 was newly launched, there was a bug which wouldn't let me chat. I was hu and I couldn't make a deal and my opponent started abusing me and there was no way I could respond to him. I had to call moderator and I told mod to tell my opponent that I'm unable to type in chat box. Whatever that was, that bug was fixed.
