I downloaded the 2GB file.

Can't see any at Pokerstars or GGPoker.

Hard to believe.

Not really, PS was/is very strong internally on bot detection. There was interest in some of the notes re changing the registry files to mask the bots.

I have downloaded and looked at the 2020, the main sites involved are:

Tiger, Grandpoker, WWIN, Planetwin, Boss, GD, Betfair, ACONCAGUA, Spartan, PPLS (seems to be newgioco), Bofog, Golgol, Eurobet

For each of these sites is numerous players - there are several folders with these files and each folder has about 100 players in it - I haven't checked if they are just the same players in different folders. Then it has pictures in each player folder of their login times when they accessed the bot I guess...

Basically it looks like OPs screenshot - and each of those folders opens their daily login screenshots from the bot program I'm guessing

edit - 2018 has ACR accounts too. Not going to bother downloading 2019 but assume similar

Someone who knows more than me (an easy feat) please explain: How impactful will this actually be? Is this kyrptonite to the bot network or will they just change a few lines of code and we'll be back to square one?

No site is perfect, but every site we dealt with directly was very receptive, asked questions, and thanked us for the info. We did not just send it to some security@ email address. It went directly to mgmt or head of game integrity. Tough to argue against any of the sites not looking to clean the grime up

This group is toast. The networks have had this for a month. There is also discussion of how they masked the bot software in the registry files. Hopefully, that will help with auto detection software.

There should be at least one follow up to this, likely two.

While many people are downloading and creating mirrors, I will post a couple of screenshots so that you understand what format the data is inside.

Each year is divided by month:
Spoiler:

Each month is divided by accounts (room / nickname and some numbers - given that they go in ascending order, this could be the bot version and account number in the system):
Spoiler:

Each month is divided by sessions:

Each sesion has 2 screenshots (start and end):

Probably very impactful to that specific bot network and potentially to others as well.

Close to zero impact on online poker in general without Pokerstars and PartyPoker on the list. Pretty sure >95% of people playing online poker haven’t heard of any of the platforms listed so far, maybe with the exception of ACR. But nobody should be surprised to hear a platform that operates on shaky legal grounds (to say the least) is infested with bots.

On the grand scale of things it’s probably like a random single-A baseball team caught cheating. Big impact on that one team but barely front page news at ESPN.com. If that happend at PokerStars it would be like the Houston Astros thing to poker players.

Thanks for doing this important investigative work. I'd donate some $ for your efforts if you're interested. IDK if you want to drop a paypal in here or a PM. I appreciate what youve done to help the game.

Thank you dewd and madlex, very cool! I always enjoy perusing the bot forums and reading their complaints about being thwarted now and again. Hopefully this creates a few more angry rants, and more importantly people can play more people

Explained to me like this....

If, 500 hands average session, 60K sessions is 30 MM hands. If average stakes is NL50 3bb/100 + RB 1.5/100

Then, 4.4 bbs/100 is $225 per100 hands.

So $675,000 in RB and depending on winrates maybe as his as 3 million on top.

Maybe, if we're only counting the 2018-2020 data listed in this dump and excluding huge one time scores like getting large shares of bad beat jackpots. The developer of this bot profile is the same as the one that was outed at Stars back in 2015 for their PLO bots taking over $1mil out of those games.

By Bofog I assume you meant Bodog which would affect players playing at Ignition, Bovada and any of the other Bodog sites.

I can only assume the compensation sent out to some of the affected Chico Network players recently was due to this evidence being shown to them. I had sent them several lists with account names and statistical evidence with many of these listed accounts included for a few years now and this is the first I've ever heard of players getting some compensation for being cheated while playing there.

Unfortunately I was not one of those compensated as very few of these bots operate at 500NL+. I won't hold my breath waiting on the 5 figure amount owed to me due to pots lost to these accounts over the last 3 years. Hopefully future players will be treated better with continued compensation.
