I also read the whole story from start to finish, as all news to me as I wasn't a member when the threads started.

Came clean?! After he was outed, yes. In a "**** you got my your honour, can you also take these charges into consideration! kind of way yes. Not sure people should be using words like "refreshing" about this sorry tale. I'm waiting for someone to use the word "virtuous!"

The guy effectively had life handed to him on a plate.........and he fed it to the dog.

Is that photo the same Michael Borovetz?

If it is, he looks like he has aged 30 years in 10 years..

Chainsaw must have given him a new staking deal for 2018. Also I see he’s going after the Pittsburgh fans for loans now. Bad luck, mike!

Because of the Pirates cap? If memory serves, he always wore some kind of Pittsburgh sports team cap, usually the Steelers. Not sure how switching to the Bucs would change anything.

Meanwhile, any travelers at ACY should be on alert for a guy carrying a "CEO's card" and a telling sob story about needing $300.

One big score and maybe Mike will change his life, address past mistakes, and commit his remaining time to public service, flying everywhere to tell his story, and save young men and their families from the perils of gambling addiction and general degeneracy.

Stay strong Mike. You can do this.

Well, maybe not flying everywhere. Traveling everywhere should be good enough.

Best staking deal ever is paying Mike's return fair to an airport and buying him a regionally appropriate baseball cap for 50% of his take.

Every time I see this thread bumped I figure it's to bring the news of Mikey moving up to the big pai gow game in the sky. Glad to hear he's still doing this thing.

What so you think because the guy hustles up money at airports he will be dead soon? Lol this thread is a trainwreck.

Yo Mikey if you ever read this hope you bink a big score and get your life turned around. You can obviously play if you can lead in chipcounts in some of these birds. Screw the haters and trolls.

Nah. I'm sure he's in great physical and mental condition after almost two decades of a desperate degenerate lifestyle.

A big score wouldn't turn his life around. It's just going to make the degeneracy a bit easier for a little while.

I know Mike once enjoyed posting at this site. His posts as I recall were sometimes brutally honest, his personal life’s wreckage on full display, an object lesson for other obsessive gamblers I suppose...but most often fodder for the Nelson’s of this landscape to go ‘Ha Ha’.
So it goes
