They really should pay dealers better to keep the integrity of the game..

Theres a difference between integrity and someone having knowledge in how to deal the game... I'm sure the Black Jack dealer I had for the Holdem Tournament was just dealing godawful because of their "integrity"....

Got a feeling this statement could be put to the test in a way we've never seen before. Not sure if disclaimers like this hold water in court. For e.g. can a grocery store have a sign saying "not responsible for slip and fall accidents"? Saying you're not responsible before the fact doesn't always mean you're not responsible. Right?

The big thing would be them proving Borgata didn't take proper standard precautions to prevent collusion/chip pumping.

Like the others said it's also a NJ DGE decision. This prob removes some of Borgata s ability to maneuver. Great for them to fall back on. He'll also gives everyone time to figure things out.

As long as these other tourneys are going well its a sure sign everything will be ok. This isn't a pleasant situation for anyone

I believe that refers to standard decisions like penalizing a player or determining if disputed call/raise was actually made. In this instance due is basically assuming control and exercising its authority

Someone told me borgata was handing out refunds if you ask and go to cage can anyone confirm? They told me it was if you don't ask you don't recieve kinda like slot machine eats your hundred if you don't say anything your screwed. Is this true? I got three bullets to get back. I figured calling will be futile.

I drove with a friend from Michigan to AC for event 1 and it would be kind of ****ed if they are only doing refunds in person, I'm sure there are tons of people from even further than me that its not worth it to fly/drive back

I am one of the 27 players left. I truly like the Borgata and the manager Tab. This tournament however was to big to manage. It was horribly run, with terrible dealers. I also had the "pleasure" of playing with Men for the late hours in day 3. I have ZERO information if he was involved with the chip scandal. I can however confirm his is a miserable A hole! who treats the game, the table the players and especially the dealers HORRIBLY. And I took pleasure in telling him what I thought of his behavior and his actions..... Men is a disgrace to poker!

I hope they find the cheaters and Borgata makes good to everyone and everything. The final 27 should not get screwed. It was brutal work getting through a field of close to 4,900 players, then to have this happen. Let the dust settle and then let us play!!!! If not, pay up what is ours!!!
