Wow if this is true it looks really bad for the Borgata that the floor took an obviously fake chip out of play, yet tournament kept on going.
In all honesty I wonder if the Borg will decide after this that massive field tournaments like this are not worth the effort. Total take on 4k entries is only $240k, chump change after you pay all the dealers/staff etc. Of course it helps draw traffic to the casino so they make money elsewhere... but they might either start capping fields at a smaller number, or just run the bigger-buyin events that get smaller fields.
