I'm pissed when I was questioning him I didnt ask him if his name was Christian. According to news reports he did not turn himself in police showed up at his motel.

Been following this thread once or twice a day and knew about the chip flushing a few days ago. It's been mentioned here or at least in links to stories about the event for days before this dolt was arrested. Not saying that justbecauseican isn't Lusardi but knowing that info certainly does NOT make him Lusardi.

I thought he was chip leader day 1c but that it was a reentry tournament in which he could have played 1 a and b.

Lastly, everyone should not be refunded. Its important for Casino's to profit from poker tournys or they will decrease the number they run or increase rake. As a community, we shouldn't unjustly demand they pay refunds. The only solution is for a chop for the remaining 27 and demand the casino makes changes to decrease the chances of this happening again.

He was day 1b chipleader, therefore chips were introduced on day 1b at the very least.

So did he order it at the hotel where he flushed the chips or the hotel they caught him in? Or was he going to fly back to NC to make sure he didn't waste the 50 bucks on a PPV?

There is nothing he said in any of his posts that was not known last Friday. Anyone who reads, played in the tourney, or knows any player in AC that weekend heard the chips down the toilet at Harrah's last Friday. So please, all worldly one, give us factual information that proves you are 100% correct that this was him and not someone leveling 50% of the forum.

People often assume that cheaters are "criminal masterminds" or "evil geniuses" when most of the time they are just lowlife crooks with varying levels of education.

In hindsight, based on what we know, absolutely no part of this plan was well thought out or genius, as is often the case in robberies and crime in general.

If this were the movies, the villain would look like George Clooney, the arrest would be part of the plan, and right now 11 or 12 others would be sipping champagne on their own private island with they cash they made counterfeiting real Borgata 25k chips unnoticed while all of AC law enforcement was focused on finding 1000 poorly copied tournament chips in the city sewers.

But this isn't the movies. In the real world there are relatively few true evil geniuses. Most of em get caught because stupid. There is often a reason they are criminals.

Some folks question on whether the day 1a losers should get a refund. Of course they should because the event was cancelled. By cancelling the event they had no shot at winning should they have gone on. It is like a rainout or a no-action event in the sports book.
