FYP, this about sums it up.

I'm on your side, Boku. Not many people could turn $100 into $10k in 2 weeks like you did especially with the game restrictions you had on your prop bet. No tourneys higher than $16 and you couldn't play in 90 or 180 mans...that was insane. Railing that prop bet was super fun.

Nobody said it wasn't impressive. Just that the only skill it really took was being able to play a bunch of tables at a very bare-bones skill level, and that it can't be done in today's environment (by him).

It is only natural in poker to want people you play with to fail. They take money out of the ecosystem and make your games worse. Some of it is hoping if you lower someone's self-esteem they will second guess themselves on a bad run and just no longer play your games or make worse decisions vs you in a game.

Boku does deserve props for having skills at self promotion that have made him money at poker as the goal of poker is to make money. It is hard for people to be ok with this as they feel they work 10x harder then him and yet don't get the same recognition. Yes there is also a level of enjoyment in putting others down as well.

All this being said everyone who says Boku sucks is a pretty well known and respected SNG player so chances are he does indeed suck. I am not passing judgment as I haven't played with him but instead wish to offer him a prop bet on turn $100 or $1000 into $10k the fastest with restrictions as I feel I can make money off of the proposition based on what I've been told + $ from the community betting.

If Boku is sitting my games of course I would wish him to bust as that's one less reg in my game. Outside of that I wish him nothing but luck in his career in poker. I am hoping he reads my offer and considers it.

If you really want to do a prop bet, just do one. What does Boku have to do with it? Create a challenge turning $100 or $1k into $10k. Set a time little, restrictions, etc., and offer action. People will take it.

By bringing Boku into it and trying to make it a race against him, it really just seems like you want to have a you know what measuring contest.

Negreanu still sucks at NL Cashgames, he just doesn't play online anymore... every game at reasonable stakes would instantly fill and he would be the spot on the table... sure he is not as bad as he used to be, but he is far from the best at NL cash games...
