I'm really confused. Is this a good or bad thing? Does this mean the U.S. players will just be playing on the MMGG skin which is part of the bodog network? Someone help me out here.

Supposedly it should be no change for US players at all. Same player pool, just playing on a different skin.

As long as American players can still go bet on football on the new ''skin" and dump it into poker this is fine news...I don't quite know what the case is. That is where most of the poker traffic comes from.

Absolutely, and that's how it will be. Only the name will change and instead of playing on Bodog, Americans will simply play on a different skin on the Bodog Network.

I think it's about time the World just SHUTS UP and allows everybody to gamble/play poker in harmony with each other. Isn't that what God wanted?!

Had me fooled. Could have swore God wanted this with a little cancer on the side.

Can we settle on God wanting either nuclear explosions and cancer OR the World gambling in harmony with one another?

Me either but i've been jonesing so much over not being able to play that I had just looked at their email to me (again) inviting me to call their toll free number to tell me about other ways to deposit. Now I don't have to bother.

And who knows how long before we get legal online poker in the U.S. Dammit.

Will they keep usernames on the transfer for US players or do you register to the new skin?

Hope it stays fishayy. Seems like a good move by them. I withdrew my bodog roll shortly after BF and I can imagine I'm not the only one who did. Also processing US payments has to cost a lot as well not to mention the cost of possible DOJ fines, seizures. .

It never was, rebranding does not mean shut down. Read the thread.

That's 100% correct. The company that owns the bodog.eu operations and software (MMGG) will be rebranding itself as of Jan 1, 2012. Everything will be exactly the same except for the brand name- the site will still be a part of the Bodog Poker Network as well.

Thanks,
Becky
