Basically the new poker apps/poker bros stuff...Not really a surprise.

So it's cheating/collusion/scams happening at the Pokerbros type apps.
05-24-2020 , 12:19 AM
I wonder if it's just individual players who are cheating/colluding or is it more systemic due to the high rake and opaque financial relationships between the players, clubs and unions.

It's really difficult to regulate app play. It's basically up to the mods to keep an eye on the games and look for anything conspicuous. Seems like pro's would have an easy time manipulating the games to their advantage without looking suspicious.

If it’s just randos on these shady poker apps, kind of underwhelming... Bigger than Postle? CTO!

I mean, except hundreds of players probably scammed/cheated out of hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) by a dozen or more players...

I’ll go with that...

I guess when he said bigger than Postle, he's referring to the $$$ amounts involved?

Good thing Bill has no experience with Dan Bilzerian multi-accounting

You're not supposed to cheat you mutha Fer! Poker players always want some credit for sheit you supposed to do.

I have a solid source that has said this has something to do with "ghosting"

Player A is supposed to be some whale but it's actually a HSNL reg. So deception.

Also, FWIW... Bill Perkins / Dan Bilzerian were sharing their account playing on FTP... there is video of it. Please don't say Dan Bilzerian is a whale... guy is likely the biggest winner in poker history.

So hypocrisy?

I always like stories like these. When the name drops I like to see if I'm a good judge of character. In my eyes, when I hear the phrase "poker hero" that's person that has a sterling reputation not just a high-stakes grinder.
05-24-2020 , 01:47 AM
The only reason I can think of for withholding names/details is if Bill is unsure of them, and doesn't want to soil reputations that don't deserve it. I don't know why he wouldn't just wait until he has correct information then if that were the case. I guess when you have that much money the only commodity you're able to thirst for is attention

Super lame and irresponsible to tweet that if he's not going to say what's going on. If he doesn't feel like he can say anything yet, he should have kept his mouth shut until he could. Same for all the other pros saying "not my place to say." Total bullshit.
