Big issue with the play and Go tourney is that between 500 and 1000 chips you want join level 1 or cash out. It means u are stuck not able to play anything if nobody will come play you at a higher level this needs to be fixed.

Just let us cash out at the 500 chip level so we can actually play at level 1 or something.

I'm stuck at 738 and can't play. This has happened q few times.

If I'm still at Level 1 with 738, I can play. But if I skip 2 hands/watch an ad, I can't play.

How are you even playing? I haven't seen a player on there all day. Though I am on Level One.

As for Ads - pretty obviously they're a necessity?

They have sit-n-go's at top of every hour. Unfortunately, I just played with 4 other BOTS. What a waste of time.

Ah, I'm more interested in the Play 'n Go format.

There are six players on Level 1, as I post, so you can at least get a game.

They give you 50 chips, free, for the 1/2 chip game, every single time you bust or cash out, so think of that as your promo code.

I am TommyBUP (and TommyNLOP on NLOP, and Tommy2+2 here).

I can assure you I am not a bot, and do not use HUDs or anything else to help me play.

In another thread in the BUP subforum, I did ask several days ago how well the site could detect cheating. I have not seen an answer from them yet.

Long time ago on PokerStars (until 2011), I did use a HUD.

And the ads have NOT ruined it. You can terminate the ad after about 5 to 10 seconds. It's not a big deal at all. And the ads don't just pop up. There is a timer in the upper right corner counting down from 6 minutes. You can click it at any time to see an ad which then adds 6 minutes to the timer.

I am not affiliated with BUP (or any other poker site) or benefit in any way other than being a normal user at BUP. I first heard about the site from this NVG thread about 5 days ago. I've played a lot on the site, and reported bugs and feature enhancements through their support system.

I've always thought that poker players were supposed to be smart. I guess that's more of a stereotype.

I guess that meeting didn't include their potential advertisers!

Maybe you and the other 3 were logged into the game and were unaware? Insta fold every hand dealt? Thought you were a BOT, sorry about that.

Thanks for the support. Where's the thread that you're speaking of? I haven't seen it or I would have replied. Sorry you got lost in the chaos that is my inbox lately.

As for cheating, Dean can speak to what and how we deal with that now and what our plans are for the future. The very nature of our business model dictates that we profit most when our users have the best time. Cheating and bots are absolutely as bad for us as they are for you.

first off lol at the guy asking about bot detection. not even 3rd world countries can justify the time it would take to scam tokens at that rate.

honestly tho, how do we not know will be 90% bots...other then saying they don’t want them and they aren’t good for business what will they do to stop them ?

I wasn't going to post this on 2+2, but then....

Yesterday HighTech was dumping chips to Garster on BUP.

Someone else posted here, and I sent message to their support yesterday identifying these 2 users.

I saw a message yesterday on 2+2 saying BUP would look into it.

Today, first hand I see HighTech and Garster together at the table. Blinds are 1/2. HighTech has 202 chips, raises to 200, Garster covers and calls. On flop, HighTech mucks.

If you can't catch the blatant idiot cheaters, what chance do you have against the smart ones?

I just tested a sit n go with 6 players and either 3 were auto fold bots or they signed up and they all forgot to play (or something of that nature). Only 2 of us out of 6 actually played the whole time and then of course after I knocked out the other player it was raise/fold until the other 3 were out. It may be nothing of course with just testing the site out.
