It's amazing that people seriously think that the shlep they hire to answer the phone has any knowledge about the case. I bet these are the same people who complain about the price of a fillup to the guy who is pumping their gas.

Turned out, it was all a hoax, a prank for his puny ego to somehow be boosted by tormenting the Americans here (He was Canadian, if I recall correctly).

Anything is possible. You could very well be a troll, and I don't buy what you, or anyone else has to say on this matter any more. I can't wait for the Dollar to collapse so my 5 figs don't matter any more.
At least you won't have long to wait.

2015 - 50,000 to 1 (jump back up to due potential legislative changes due to elections. Also, I think this is when a sovereign bond bubble starts to burst).

The DOJ messed up the Aaron Swartz thing; that case really goes to show you whose side they are on (hint: it ain't ours). The government is basically a dirty whore. I really have NO faith at all we get our money back soon, even ever....especially considering the potential economic realities (crashes, recessions) staring economies around the world, in the face....as well as the fact our Congress can't even agree on what they want for lunch.
I'll take $1 for each of those 3 years - where would you like me to send the $3

lol. I called the number of the guy who said either today or next week and ended up getting the standard guy. And one might think the PR people at the DOJ would know something... It might be their job or something...

I'll bet $10 to win $2mil for 2013, $10 to win $5k for 2014 and $10 to win $500k for 2015. Who would you like to escrow?

You, sir, are more clueless than Joey.

In for $100 on all three of these, PM escrow.

If anyone needs an escrow, I'll hold the funds, and I definitely won't steal them and make you have to go through a remissions process all over again

You don't think public relations people would be one of the first to know something, so they can relay that info to the public?

Obv they are not decision makers, but they would be finding out faster than we are.

C'mon dude, their job is to say whatever they are told to say, and say it well.

It's only a coincidence if what they say is actually true.

?

Why would they lie? And exactly? They would be one of the first to know, do you not agree?

Looks like this week wasn't "next week" again. Maybe next week...

PR people do not make the business decisions or the policy. They do however, have some responsibility to tell people if there is news coming or not. If there is no news coming they simply say we have no scheduled announcements at this time and we do not know when we will have an announcment.

They also have a responsibility to keep their mouths shut until they have an approved announcement for the public.

I can tell you when I made the original post about a pending announcement, I did talk to two people who were a little more chatty than others, not that they told me much. For all I know the announcement could be a big-to-do about nothing, but I think they should give the name of a payment processor and a rough timetable.

I had to pass on a real estate deal today because i don't have my money

Not only am I losing the ability to earn interest on the money, but I lost out on a deal that would of made me $80K at closing (plus a pretty good rental with some solid prospects for the future)
