And how do you guys expect them to work with any urgency if we're not calling, if they get a 1000 calls a day for a few days all requesting info and update on the full tilt case, I don't see how they can ignore that. I say we bomb the phone lines collectively and let them understand how important it is to us as a community that we get an update. Cause obviously the PPA is just not cutting it or the government just gives them no respect

The DOJ isn't stalling and there isn't some conspiracy, it's just a glacial bureaucracy. I think for some this is an eye opener into the slow machinations of government. "When we're ready" hasn't been lost.

I called the USAO press office (212-637-2600) and decided to try some questions that, worded correctly, might be a bit more answerable.

I pretty much said we've heard "soon" a lot, and if she could elaborate if soon is more 1 week or 1 month. Obviously, she said she couldn't give a specific time frame but mentioned that we should be "extremely tuned in" for the next update from the DoJ (and to interpret that as I would).

So, in conclusion, who knows.

I'm still holding out hope that the reason its taking so long to get information is because they are waiting until they have every last detail on what we need to do in the remission process. I'm probably being overly optimistic though.
