The Big Question For Full Tilt's U.S. Players: Will They Get Their Poker Winnings Back? The Big Question For Full Tilt's U.S. Players: Will They Get Their Poker Winnings Back?

There are either a lot of pros or a lot of tax evaders in this thread. How the heck were you guys doing your taxes without account history in the past? I was able to cobble it together using HEM for this last round of taxes but that was a much bigger pain that using account history.

Yes, by all means, get the Press involved. Maybe they can do a segment on the victims of Hurricane Sandy and you at the same time.

Poker players as a group, offer far less to society than 99.9 percent of other groups. You cannot argue for a minute that the world is a better place because people drop out of college to play poker, instead of pursuing something that might actually benefit society.

You deserve zero. Not a penny more than that. It would be different if you held people in the community accountable, but you let million dollar scammers walk around freely without even spitting in their faces.

Also, your hero's like Barry G, who took a 400K loan and never paid it back, are not the heroes you think they are. If he got involved in that type of move in a normal business, where an insider took company funds, then both the person who gave him the money, as well as Barry G would be in prison. But not in poker.

Also, poker is the only sport/game/ area of life that I know of where people openly talk about murders and nobody cares. Doyle (RIP) has mentioned many times that he witnessed people getting their heads blown off, as well as other felonies. In any other walk of life there would be an investigation, but not poker. People get arrested for murder on cold cases from 50 years ago.

It is time to wake up. Get a real job where you pay taxes and advance society a bit, and then maybe the government and the public at large will actually give a rat's ass about you.

Until then, keep dreaming.

You must have played a LOT of poker, right?

Sure seems like you have.

Also, are you saying that college goers shouldn't have the right to drop out and pursue poker as a full time career?

Potleemit never answered my question...you claim not to play poker but for some reason you feel the need to post in poker forums...seems odd, right?

Nothing yet. Emailed them two days ago about an incomplete, now expired black card bonus not being credited back in FTPs. No response. :\

You don't have to be a full-time pro to file a Schedule C, where only your net profit for the year is relevant. In fact, if you are at all serious about the game, you should expect to make money at it and SHOULD file a Schedule C.

Back when I started poker and still had a full-time job, I filed as a pro even when only playing 5 hours (or whatever) per week.

DavidNB, why are you even hiding behind the Eli808 account. Also, why do you even care since you are not US about all this?

Stop engaging.

This argument stops here and now.

Trolling people and calling them morons and unethical and that they will never seen their money stops.

Responding to those posts by insulting and telling someone to die stops.

If you can't post within the forum rules then stop posting.

I'm no CPA, but there are CPAs who have posted in the legislation forum. I think to do this you have to form an LLC and pay taxes as an employer. If you didn't do that then you're still evading taxes.

I requested my account history less than 2 hours ago.
I just got the email saying it was ready,Ive downloaded and checked it, seems accurate to what i recall right before it went to ZERO.

It works for US players too.
How can I download the .com version? The website won't allow me to do that. I tried opening the .com client I had previously but it just asked if I wanted to update then it would just disappear.

"Error opening file for writing:
C:\Program Files (x86)Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\NewTable\Common\Cards\diamonds_nf_b lue_lores\10.svg

Click Retry to try again or Cancel to stop the installation."

anyone have the download link for mac?
11-08-2012 , 08:25 PM
Are you guys logging in the .NET version in the US to see your balance history? It won't let me log in and I'm wondering if it is because I downloaded the .NET version. If that's the reason why I can't login, would someone please post the link for the .COM version for US citizens?

Thanks
