The Big Question For Full Tilt's U.S. Players: Will They Get Their Poker Winnings Back? The Big Question For Full Tilt's U.S. Players: Will They Get Their Poker Winnings Back?

I got my account history. I have a vague recollection of Full Tilt turning US player ftp points into cash at some point. Does anyone else remember that? My account still has points, so I'm guessing they reversed that??

The history looks accurate. I believe I had slightly more money last I looked, but that could've been the converted ftp points which are now unconverted. The records are very detailed, so it would be weird for them to be wrong.

Here's the unsolicited email you get if you were playing in Italy at the time of the final shutdown:

"Gentile Screen Name,

Unfortunately we are unable to provide access to your Full Tilt Poker account at this time.

This is because Full Tilt Poker did not operate a licensed site in Italy before it closed operations. As a result, a very complex legal situation has developed regarding the status of these account balances and our ability to repay them.

For months we have been working diligently with our Italian legal advisors and relevant authorities to find a solution. It is not yet clear how we will resolve this situation in a way that is compliant with Italian law.

We deeply regret this and we are doing all that we can to find a solution. We will update you as soon as we have reached a conclusion.

Sincerely,

Full Tilt Poker"

If I remain an unreimbursed victim, I intend to file a remission application.

Pretty funny coming from the guy who can somehow confuse a post written by a completely different person. I didn't write that ridiculous post. You suck at the internet. And I'm fat? News to me at 170!

Yes - get your account history.

I am in the US.
Did you email support@ftp or another email address?

And TY for the update.

You request it through the client, and they email you when it's available for download. I have no idea if they'll send it directly to you without initiating the process from the client.

Hi AAC,

Your recent Account History request is now available at Full Tilt Poker.

To view your request, log in to Full Tilt Poker, go to the Requests menu in the game lobby and select Account History.

Kind regards,

Full Tilt Poker

The PPA stuff doesn't really belong in this thread, but it might be relevant to note that two states just legalized gay marriage by majority vote (rather then legislative/court action) after 32 failed attempts and who knows how many years of activism.

Changing attitudes (and laws) generally takes time and effort. If you don't like what the PPA is doing, step up and do something yourself.

You can request the account history yourself via the FTP poker client interface.

Requests>Account History

From there you can specify the dates you want. I made the mistake of asking for the past year, but all I got was a blank page since FTP was inactive for longer than that. Takes about a day for them to compile the history. I think the compilation is automated but I'm not 100% sure.

hmm not sure if its positive news that we can request account history and what not? I presume that the DoJ probably has something similar to these on hand?

First of all, I am not trolling. I feel very strongly that the PPA is operating under false pretenses and was at some point heavily funded by FTP to represent their interests.
This may not be the appropriate thread for this, but I know it will get read by Mr Muny and also many, many people who are owed money and should be informed of the PPA and what they are really up to.

Secondly, does it even make sense that the board of such an organization would have online poker company owners on it? Shouldn't the board of an organization purporting to represent the players consist of some high profile players, people with a good business acumen and maybe a lawyer or two?

Mr Muny, just answer me one question on the record and I will disappear from the thread:

Did the PPA ever accept any funding from Full Tilt Poker or any of it's affiliated companies (Pocket Kings...etc..etc)?

Follow up question: If so, isn't it possible given the circumstances that player funds (that the players never authorized to be donated) were included in the monies donated to the PPA?

I appreciate y'alls efforts.
^^This stuff.

Do you request the account history through the play money .net client if you're from the US?

Mine was right and I hadn't made a withdrawal since 2010.

Just called 1-866-874-8900, the number for the DoJ Southern District of NY's Victim and Witness Services. Recorded greeting tells you that if you're calling about FTP/Stars, please wait for an announcement about remissions process.

Can you go to Cashier > My Promotions > Account History? The My Promotions button should take you to a website with an Account History link on the left. I still had the client installed from before BF and updated, so not sure if the .net version is different.
