Beware: ThePokerAgent scamming? Beware: ThePokerAgent scamming?

I found ThePokerAgent in Mai.2021, while looking for a reliable agent to play on PPPoker and PokerBros. The website https://thepokeragent.com/ looked alright, I got in touch with them and started to play with them. All good till I decided to withdraw: They pretended first all good, but need few days for withdraw. Then claimed their BTC wallet got frozen and for that I need to wait until they unfreeze it, since all their funds are there! That was 3 months ago, in August! For weeks now no answers to my messages at all! The amount I am owed is close to 5k... Definitely recommending to stay away for them!

Back on track, where’s the scam?

It is, of course, possible they’re scamming but it’s also possible the wallet is legit frozen right now.

Putting yourself in a position where "your wallet is legit frozen" is incredibly stupid. That's the opposite of why bitcoin exists.

It's extremely negligent if true but probably just a lie and a scam.

Actually I use their services from long time. After I saw this I felt uneasy and requested big cashout, which was made instantly.

First of all, I don't know who is this from photos, but they do not use Skype. I already have cashed out from them 4 and even 5 digit amounts without problem.

Seems you were not speaking with them.
I have been playing with them for 6months+ , did many many deposit and cashouts.
I work with 4 different agents, definitely one of the most honest you can find.
I did get some proofs of it, as at least two time they could have take some extra money from me easily, but instead they choose to do the right thing.
I also got a problem recently, totally unrelated to them with another agent, and they helped me, by contacting other agents etc... they had 0 to win helping me.
One of the bests out there for sure.

Hey, bro
Is there any update on this one and if yes how and what exactly happended since I'm in a similar position with these mfs for a while now? Similar repertoire as with you - late responses with days and some language which doesn't seems appropriate while doing procedures like those. Currently I'm on "ignore mode" from their side and I even got an answer what is happening etc.

Much appreciated if you have some advices thanks

seems insane to not hold player funds in a private wallet

Probably, I'm not really familiar with all the stuff about private wallets etc and maybe it's my fault and a little education on this topic will be a good thing but anyway , we are talking about a different thing here. No matter if I do understand or not, it's their obligation to work properly and not to mess around with people's money.

What service were you messaging them from? It seems like above there is the possibility that someone was impersonating them on skype. Possibly middle manning deposits on skype?? I wish op provided some more info on what their account name was, show which account loaded them chips etc and let us know if this was ever resolved. However I'm kinda surprised The Poker Agent didn't respond to the above or get thread closed if it was false...

no sorry i meant as the agent. 2ndary money accounts do get locked reasonably often when involved in gaming transactions, im not saying he did or did not get locked, just that if he were to keep it in a software wallet he could prevent the possibility all together.

Hello, i am ThePokerAgent.com owner in the flesh.

First things first, we contacted many times the forum owners, but no one ever responded.

As far as, these tomato cans above - the OP approached us on Telegram for this and we explained to him, that we never EVER used skype and he got cheated by impostor.

The thing that he decided to do is post here with some false accusations. The simple truth is , that he is angry for getting scammed by someone who copied our name online ( many people do, this is why you should only find our contact in our website thepokeragent.com )

For the first tomato can opening this thread we have some photos, how he first accuse us and then has the nerve to ask us for deals. He constantly message us about new rooms we provide access to . Interesting behaviour from "scammed" player.

The second tomato can, nenchovski or whatever his name is - this is someone who has to gain from spreading false accusations and ruin our reputation. Either agent or player who lost and is unhappy.

We 100% guarantee the money of all our players and hundreds of players can confirm that.

I challenge this troll nenchovski to show photos and prove that he never paid him. We pay every agent and player, regardless if club pays us.

So looking to hear, from nenchovski, show photos and prove that you ever played with us and did not get paid. I have no idea, who you are, but speaking about us to get clout is sad.

To the other guy opening the thread - stop messaging us about playing.
