Pokes broadcast the following email today:

Quote:

Subject: Withdrawal Situation Update (11/28/06)

For all those with pending withdrawals, we want to assure all of you that your money is accounted for and will be paid. We are working on a payment time line for all players and hope to resolve matters as soon as possible. A first installment payment will be issued on December 8th. We will make best efforts to finalize the full future payment time lines by that same date. You will also receive another update at this point with the relevant details for moving forward.

Again, we'd like to offer our sincere apologies for the inconveniences. We are continually working to make sure all issues are swiftly and completely dealt with. Please look out for future updates over the next week and following days.

Re: Beware of OnGame\'s Futurebet sites (e.g. pokes poker)

I sent them an email Sunday evening and 12 hours later I had all my outstanding withdrawels in my Neteller account.

I had waited for close to a month for the first of them, but I pretty sure thing will work out, as I haven't played at the site for a month due to vacation, so should they decide not to pay some players, I think I would be a more likely candidate as I not currently contributing any rake until I'm back from my holiday.

Re: Beware of OnGame\'s Futurebet sites (e.g. pokes poker)

anyone else experiencing a case of the missing account balance? my balance, which should be 16K, is currently listed as $0. nancy from futurebet told me that the money is in the process of being moved to the new network, although i'm a little suspicious as no one else here has reported any similar problems. has anyone else been having this problem?

Anyone else get their money? I've had over 4K pending since late October. What's the longest anyone has been waiting that still doesn't have their money?

Re: Beware of OnGame\'s Futurebet sites (e.g. pokes poker)

Someone needs to get a lawsuit together. We are all owed a tremendous amount of money, this isn't some piddly [censored].

Ongame can not be free of liability here, pokes was an affiliate at the time we all played. Additionally responsibility/blame can be placed on pokes/futurebet.

Someone with law experience or a good lawyer take some initiative and lets get this going.

Re: Beware of OnGame\'s Futurebet sites (e.g. pokes poker)

I also didn't get anything on 8th. I e-mailed Pokes. Crapy response from them (or propably not them, but some outsourced 3rd party for DNG Network) is saying "Realistically, easiest thing to do would be to wait and see what happens, as we do not know ourselves.". This is all awful. I start doubting if I will ever see the money. I have a lot money there. Grrr...

1) Does anyone have any new info? Who is the guy behind Pokes? Why was he saying that 8th is the day? Was something realy going on, or did he just need some time to get people calm and disappear?

2) I am for the lawsuit. PM me too. But btw, is there any realistic chance it will give anything?

Absolutely. This is blatant fraud and downright theft going on.
