lol at trying to defend scripts. Many fish have quit the game because of them as they aren't stupid, and most of them feel they are being cheated. I've had several fish say this, and a lot of them don't return. There's a difference between bum hunting certain players and instantly popping up on their left when they sit, that freaks them out to the point they don't want to play. It's hard to bite the hand that feeds you more. It is insanely short sighted. If everyone used them there would be zero fish left, it is bad enough as it is.

I'm fine with TimStone scripting and don't think people should call him out on it, even though I don't script/like scripts being allowed myself. I don't agree with him that people 'teaching' is bad - clearly it's detrimental to the state of the games, but so are many things. Unless you include study groups within the scope of 'teaching', it seems inequitable - those who have better connections are better-placed to do well than those that don't. This is entirely inconsistent with the idea of equality of opportunity. I also don't see why someone using their poker ability to make money off the table is different fundamentally from someone using software to increase their bb/100, as both damage the games.

yeah, never understood the people who say recreational players don't notice/don't have any idea. if they sit at a table and several other players instantly pop up every time they sit at a table, even a complete idiot can work out there's some automated program/bot that's targeting them.

I think the only one i've seen here that has everyone's approval is nagoya - and i think he is indeed v good.
