Sees that interesting because im the exact opposite, marijuana makes me hyper-aware at the table, most people might think this is crazy, but I pick up on tells from oppenents when im high, I will pick up on tells that would never have had crossed my mind if I was sober, espically stress, ofcourse stress dosent mean "weakness", but thats besides the point.

What kind of mind-altering drugs are you talking about OP lol? Like Adderall, Meth, Weed, and Shrooms/LSD ?

I usually play High (weed) online, as I am more focused and can relax. Drinking gives me more confidence to make plays with no regrets. I prefer a shot or two when playing live and weed playing online.

I can't explain it but sometimes I can't remember big hands at final table and have to check next day(not global of course) to see how I played

I can't be getting blitzed every time I want to win.

Is there something this tells me about my game??

My favorite stack is Phenylalanine, Ginseng and L-Arginine. Phenylalanine is a precursor for Tyrosine, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, and Epinephrine, while Arginine is converted into Nitric Oxide which helps increase circulation while relaxing blood vessels. We could go into great detail but basically, this combination increases mental acuity & focus, improves attitude & disposition, increases endurance, reduces fatigue, while also taking the 'edge' off any stimulating effects vis-a-vis L-Arginine.

It's all mental. If people think smoking pot will make an average basketball player reach NBA level then go for it. Doesn't make it true. In their minds maybe. Curry must have been smoking up a storm.

Some will look for shortcuts. Instead of studying real hard and doing thorough research they will reason taking some adderall will allow them to write an outstanding thesis. Right.

Instead of working hard and practicing they will drink a lot and magically become an airline pilot.

It's all BS and a crutch. If it worked there would be scads of folks winning bracelets while high on drugs.

For turning yourself into a zombie so far as reads, opiods are the best. But it can get pricey if you play more than once a week, because you will get a physical addiction and avoiding withdrawal will cost more than the advantage you may or may not receive from playing like a zombie.
