What are some of your fav poker books that mainly contain gambling stories revolving prop bets, golf, sports betting, and anything else? I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but the other books I saw were mainly about poker strategy. Thanks for any advice!

The Godfather of poker - Doyle brunson autobiography
One of a Kind - Stu ungar's story by Nolan Dalla
Casino by Nicholas Pileggi (its not about poker but You are gonna like it)
Those are the books I have read and really liked but there are alot more like the one mentioned above and also:
The biggest game in town by Al Alvarez
Positively Fifth Street: Murderers, Cheetahs, and Binion's World Series of Poker
And if you like to know about the undergroud high stake poker scene in LA and NYC read or watch the movie Molly's game

The most entertaining and most informative book on the earlier day's of poker and gambling in America probably ever written.

Titanic Thompson by Kevin Cook and Fast Company by Jon Bradshaw, also Doyle's memoirs/autobiography is quite good

and of course Shut Up and Deal by Jesse May but that's a novel - even though it's fiction it's based on truth and basically it sums up the whole gambling/poker life pretty much perfectly (imo)

Read the late great devilfishes book. Massive degen stories in that, thousands done in bookies, armed robberies at poker games, violence, alcohol vegas binks with last buyin of bankroll etc. Great read!

Check Raising the Devil, by Mike Matusow. It has everything. Winning, losing, meth addiction, epic degen stories, jail, sports betting, ect.

He didn’t seem to hold back at all thus I enjoyed this more than any of the ten + poker books I’ve read
