threads13 (threads13 on Deuces Cracked) just passed away according to Facebook. Jacob had stage 4 brain cancer and died at age 35.

I haven't talked to threads in years but I recall being decent friends with him about 10 years ago. We were both DC coaches and I know that he helped a lot of players out over the years. Always a cool guy to chat with and he was a friend when I wasn't doing great, so I'm grateful for that experience. RIP.

Threads13 has always been one of my favorites on DC back in the days.

Cancer was killing him slowly, I guess he told me about it 4-5 years ago when he had his 1st brain OP after which we thought he beat it, but it came back...He was optimistic about it when I last talked to him (around same time last year) but obviously it got worse and worse. He said to me back than ...couple of more rounds of chemo and then that's over for now...but today he lost that battle RIP my friend...

Ah man, hard to hear this one. Didn't know Jacob personally but he and I began our poker journey together in Small Stakes Full Ring. He was a constant good-guy poster with spot on analysis to help the rest of us. RIP
