Bellagio Dealer Caught stealing 1k Chips at Bobby's Room - Page 3 - Poker News

RFID is radio frequency identifier - the things they use in stores to limit theft. I've never heard of them being used in poker chips but its a pretty good idea.

I have a friend who used to be a dealer.

One night he dealt in a private game with two tables, sharing time with two other dealers, working purely for tips.

After the game finished my friend was pretty pleased with £350 for his nights work.

That was until the other two dealers cashed in chips worth £2000 and £1800.

He was like, wtf?

The guy who run the game said to my friend, "you didn't steal enough from the pots, next time you'll do better..."

He didn't deal in this game again.

i think there used for 5k + chips but not 1k chips ?

The rule is anytime a dealer touches the pot, he flips his hands face up showing his empty palms. How this is not enforced, especially in the nosebleed section is baffling.

I would be more worried about a card mechanic in those games than a dealer taking a few chips here and there. I hate to sound like one of those people who believes everything they see on T.V. but those documentaries about mechanics so good that they can't even be caught upon video review scare me.

If I were a card mechanic the young internet stars would be my targets.
