Bellagio Chip Robber BUSTED (Judges son) - Page 3 - Poker News

I played with him in a 1k at red rock a few weeks ago. He was in a terrible mood and told everyone he was down 100k for the month playing poker. When he got all in and doubled up he was genuinely ecstatic, I thought he was on his case 1k for sure. Who knew he had another million + in chips laying around

I am pretty sure played at Bellagio several times with him at 10/20. Pretty much kept to himself never remember him sitting deep. Wonder if he used stolen chips at table. What a dumb arse! Plus just read he had a room that night at Bellagio-wow. Cops must have figured out awhile ago it was him but needed to friend him to get him to sell chips. He is lucky it happened now and not 25 years ago justice be served much differently. Glad they got him

Reminds me of the Wells Fargo robbery in Charlotte where they got away with $17M. Only one of the group left the Charlotte area. The rest go around buying houses and cars paying with cash. One lady involved went to a bank and asked the teller, "How much can I deposit before you have to report it to the feds? Don't worry, it is not drug money."

i want to know why he was so desperate to get in touch with provotrout from the start, and why he felt he could confide in provo enough to send him that picture. guy's first post on 2p2 is in like a 10plo strat thread, trying to get in contact with provo, and alludes to being familiar with him/having spoken to him via IM. seems strange, despite the guy having enough nerve to post itt on 2p2 and actually continue LIVING at the bellagio.

Haha, dude was running around town with a gun. And he told me about it. Not a shot in hell I'm risking a normal life to protect an unstable gambling/opiate addict who threatens to shoot people.

It was the right thing to do and I have no regrets about it. My brother is an attorney and he basically told me to pass on the info or risk a conspiracy charge.

Beyond that the guy could have easily gone to another level and shot someone or created another, more dangerous robbery attempt.
