I didn't see the original airing of the show. I saw the second airing of it which aired a few months later, so you are mistaken on that.

I don't watch FSN that much anymore since the Celtics moved to Comcast Sports Net in 2007, so I'll take your word for it.

I guess my point is the show was never that big of a success in the first place for people to take notice enough to care about spoilers.

I hope to see Player S in Aruba, and to shake his hand, and accept his apology.
I lol'd at that considering I think Phil didn't even show up TO Aruba.

Either way, this thread has become a huge dumpster fire.

Comcast Sports Net is a regional Fox Sports Net affiliate.

Hollywood dave might be the biggest tool and poser in all of poker ~ it shocks me this beyond belief that a donkey like that gets any press - and if anyone has any doubts... just go play 5-10 or 10-20 stud with the whinny little dbag

Seriously.

Announcer: "We're on the bubble. It's very exciting."
Player: "Haha. F you dude. We're having fun!!"
Savage: "Sorry, will have to penalize you one orbit."
Player: "That's it. I quit."

Scotty,

It has been awhile, hope you are well. Would you expect the face of UltimateBet to act any differently? I think it was you that brought up the point that most players have to follow the rules and a few are above the law (not the Steven Segal movie)

I am not a MTT expert, but was calling with QT suited really that bad?
I just think every year Phil has to, or is expected to do this for ratings and to boost his poker brat image for endorsements.

In 1999, it was QJ.

Atleast in 2003, he got called with QJ Again and was a little more quiet

I could go on and on. Fitting that he is a UB spokesman

Quotes from Phil Hellmuth Jr.'s latest blog entry:

http://www.philhellmuth.com/phil-hel...g.html?id=2889

Once there we went into the business class lounge and began to watch the Phillies/Brewers playoff game along with members of the band "Pearl," Michael Binger, World class tournament director Matt Savage and his wife Mary Ann.

Don was my partner when we played in a three man scramble, with UB and AP CEO Paul Leggett rounding out our group. Leggett has come in and cleaned up both the sites. He has met with players, investigators, and media personally in order to restore confidence in the brands. UB and AP needed a strong CEO with perfect ethics like Paul, and I'm proud to call him my boss. (I represent UB).

Since "Best Damn Poker Show II" starts on October 27, I am also planning on going to LA that day to do "Best Damn Sports Show."

Sounds fishy.

(Tokwiro spokeswoman Anna Molley told msnbc.com that Leggett had stopped giving interviews at the request of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission pending completion of an independent investigation.)
Looks like he is avoiding Major Media, MSNBC, b/c the KGC told him to. I am sure if he stuck to poker forums and radio shows they wouldn't mind. But for Phil to say he has met with media is a joke, no offense to 2+2 or P5s, but Paul and UB tried to stay out of the mainstream media, I really would like to see if Paul does an interview with MSNBC, CBS, ANY major news network once the KGC and the 3rd party people are done doing whatever it is they are doing. I mean, the KGC and UB were working on this thing together since January, supposedly.

When are we going to hear from THE MAN Joe Norton, he spoke in the AP case, well a letter with his name on it. Scotty, you got any TV contacts that can convince The Best Damn Sports show to grill Phil about the site he represents?

The 60 minutes piece comes out Oct. 26, the BDPS Oct. 27, then fresh Main Event coverage Oct. 28. Count on the Best Damn Sports Show not addressing the UB scandal and glorifying Phil to the extreme. (Was that a level?) AND NO. I have no ‘TV contacts’, as I have pretty well burnt all bridges with my contacts in televison (that was a level)...

I consulted with my lawyer about the BDPS, and he assures me that Gold Star Communications can do anything they would like with ALL footage from the show. He specializes in First Amendment rights at the local University and I am pretty sure he knows what he is talking about. Funny. Our on the phone conversation went like this, ‘You what?’ I told a quick version of the story. He was pissed and said, ‘What State did this happen in?’. California I said. “You’re screwed’. He closed our meeting with ‘If I was there, you would have never walked.’

So. I am presently talking with acquaintances in newsprint and talk radio, as I am trying to be prepared (the Boy Scout in me). Funny thing? No one seems to be interested in some stupid poker show no one watches, they all want to know about the Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker scandals. The guys at the Post are poker players. One of them has known me since I was 16 years old, and he was my editor when I wrote as a teenager.

UB doesn't advertise round there

Haha... the first two pics are with, hands down the most annoying personalities in poker. (yes, both are way more annoying that Phil could ever be on his worst day!)

Story. On the subject of bootlegging feature tables from the audience. So, I am at the WSOP watching a televised table being shot that included Scotty Nyugen and Tracy Scala. I have my mini video recorder (size of a pack of cigarettes) out when an ESPN staff member says, 'Hey. Put that away, before they take it away from you.' True.
