I watched couple of the last days and when there was two tables left, Boatman called a triple barrel bluff for his tournament life against another older gentleman. The opponent gave Boatman huge praises after the call and seemed to be in disbelief.

He defeated high roller regular Ponakovs and a very solid German pro Kauffman in 3-handed. Granted, he ran like God and admitted it himself but:

This is great for poker and I’m happy for Barney. I remember knocking him out from a Full Tilt tournament and got some ”you knocked out a pro”- t-shirt for that.

He seems like a great guy and has been around forever. Congrats to the Goatman!

Gratz to Barney. He's been a cheerful face on the UK/international poker scene for many years.

What a win.
Takes me back to 2013 when he won his first bracelet. The most popular UK win I’ve seen in the halls at The Rio.

Lol'd at the hand where the other guy tilted and used all his time bank cards to run down the clock so he could reduce the time left with the dealer.

Back when he was one of the guys on "Late Night Poker" (the show with that new super cool thing called "under the table" cameras) some current players weren't even born yet.
