Probably shows just how soft the event is - obviously some amazing players in the event but the rest are mainly not so.

27 left and play ended for the Day. They are well ahead of schedule.

Do people think that a min-cash should be double the buy-in?

Rooting for Bjorn Li and Phil Ivey

I root for Phil as a poker player like I root for Tiger as a golfer...his marital scandal didn't change that one bit. Could get into trying to figure out if Ivey is at all at fault in this FTP stuff, but rather just root for him for being the GOAT at poker, and the celebrity hero that got me into the game

Randy Dorfman for one wasn't particularly happy last year with the payout structure of the event.

This year there are less entrants and they guaranteed 2 mil for first lol. Thats a good way to **** payouts.

The hand was open folded pre flop - Ivey put the player all in and he open folded KK. Ivey didn't show.

Would be an impressive feat.

On a side note - did you saddle up this year for any events?

Why the hell is Ivey still playing tournaments !? I thought he hated those and was just playing for some FTP exposure...

lol no offense but if pokernews got the hand right (and they're pretty notoriously bad at getting hands right so could be way off), I've never seen more button-clicking in my life at the 55 hand. Friend was actually trying to convince me that he was vbetting the 55 and that pokernews must have just misunderstood his excitement at such a big pot for getting up to leave and it being a bluff. I guess he was wrong.

Bjorn gonna ship it though, structure is sick good so I'm assuming he has a pretty massive edge over all the mtt regdonks if he can keep his stack at 100bb.
