Yep he´s the only highstaskesplayer who isn´t seriously trying to win. I´m pretty tired of the guy since like a normal human I want myself and my favourite sportsteams/athlets to win at any cost.

I would. Just ask him to turn 100k into 500k and end the stake right there.

that's because he's autistic like the kid in mercury rising.

if i were rolled like a boss, staking isildur would be one of my favourite sweats, imagine giving him 50k, noone can spin it like isil, he either turns it into a milly the next 48hours or he busts pretty quickly, and he kinda often spins it up, its not a "one thing in a lifetime" -thing for him.

The problem would be obviously when you pull the plug of that stake as you never know with him, but historically it seems to be a good bet to pull the plug when he wants to go 200/400 against either sauce or galfond.

According to a swedish article ChaoRen160 is Mikael Thuritz. Is this something you all knew or?

If I had million I would give it to Isildur, so he could turn it into 5 million in next 48 hours, then we would share profit 50/50, I would make 1,5mil and he would have br to have some fun for couple days at highest possible stakes.

Easy game.
08-29-2012 , 10:35 AM
Isil is a good player but a huge degen. I think he is good at playing the lower end of the high stakes but as soon as he loses an 80k pot at 200/400 he goes on ape**** tilt.

If the kid could control his tilt he could be a very profitable player but he needs a GA meeting or two to get in line.

He has this anti-quitting policy that causes him to downward spiral.

He's an action junkie and comparing him to Ungar is not far off.

Yes it is.

Sometimes he'll play off his screen name and chat as if he has a Chinese accent but it's just for a laugh.

Looking at Stars 27TD lobby now, the exact same trio is waiting for opponents at 500/1k as at 1k/2k — hell, even as low as 100/200. What prevented isildur from getting the same learning experience at lower stakes? Sure he wants the toughest opponents possible, but why the highest possible stakes, too... That $700k tuition could've easily been $350k or $140k. Makes a difference imo.

I don't remember so much ill spoken of Galfond back when he lost approximately a million while learning 2-7TD at the 1.5k/3k stake on FTP.
