Eh...When i look at HSDB, they have Ziigmund at 728k lifetime in PLO, not 7,3M...

His all time high was 5,8M in Mars 2010.

Also he's +2 million in PLO as "Ilari FIN" on Stars.

Yeah, but I still don't see where you get the 7,3M from?

The way I'm reading it he won a total of 2,1M in the mixed HA (according to his graph).

+3,2M in the PLO part of the mixed HA games and -1,1M in the PLH part of the mixed HA games for a total of 2,1M. (assuming he didn't play any PLH hands outside the HA games, which I don't think he did?)

I could very well be wrong but that's how I'm reading the 2009 year summary...

        ugh

His 2009 PLO winnings were 6.1 million. 1.5 million came from straight PLO, therefore 4.6 came from mixed HA.

4.6 from mixed HA, + .7 from straight PLO = 5.3 on FTP

+ 2 on Stars = 7.3 million by HSDB tracking

Where do you see that 4,6M came from mixed HA and 1,5M from straight PLO?

If he's down 1,1M from PLH, and his total HA winnings (according to the graph HA was mostly played during 2009) are 2,1M, that to me means he won ~3,2M in the PLO part om the HA games.
        08-02-2013 , 08:58 PM
Hm we're both correct so there a discrepancy somewhere in HSDB's database; it doesnt add up. In the end it doesnt really matter, evenif my figure was off by 1.4 he likely still was > 8 million in his career, he was playing the highest stakes online vs guys like Lindgren as far back as 2004, had a ferrari and a house and played in bobby's room in 2007, etc. etc.

/end derail sorry all for hijacking the last page of posts

Ziggie used to crush businessmen at 250/500 on Betfair. Probably unlikely that he is up less than 8 million in online PLO all time given how many years he has played the nosebleeds and how much he has lost in NLHE and TV cash games.

Ah well, Ziigmund graph is sick, but you may want to add the winning on the Ilari_FIN account on Pokerstars.

Still think David Benyamine´s graph is even more interesting. He basically murdered PLO only to give it all back and lose some more on top in O8, HORSE and LHE (most of which HSDB didn´t track, we only have Bryce´s graphs as evidence for some of those). He managed to win close to $10m in PLO and he´s still down $6m life time on FTP according to his own chat. Just sick.

There´s basically no chance in hell that Grundy is actually up $8m. For one, he took several shots at huge NLHE games and got killed. From what he wrote in his blog, he actually played as high as 250/500 NLHE when his roll was like 300k lol. What´s more, he did play while being staked quite a bit. There´s a good chance you have to deduct a million or two, and you may well end up at < $5m overall winnings.
        08-03-2013 , 04:16 AM
last time I added up Benyamine's four HSDB-tracked accounts his PLO winnings were over 11 million. A 2+2 dataminer had him +2.6 million in PLO in last 3 months of 2006

He basically stopped playing online at the end of 2009 (only played 18k hands in 2010), so he won just under $14 million in PLO in just a little over 3 years.
