Back in the day on High Stakes Poker, Eli showed a great joy for poker and life in general. There seemed to be great camaraderie on that show. Reading his responses brought me back to that time...back when poker was fun.

Then reality hit me square in the face when I got to the part where Eli stole money from some cheater which necessitated responses by a bunch of PSUmike/Zima421 types feigning fake outrage as if they aren't dirty as hell themselves.

CTS never struck me as a degen, so if hes not playing poker for the money, (the love for the game expired many years ago for anyone nondegen OG) hes obviously gonna put his mind and effort into other things that generate more happiness/fun/potential roi. Complete derail but on the subject of big hands...

I was grinding a bit of 10/20 in the Bellagio during WSOP and the game was pretty dry so me and another player were betting on the biggest pot the new dealer to the table ever dealt when he/she sat down. Some old Asian chick sat down and I asked her and she went $4million. Everyone at the table was flabbergasted and she was claims that during WSOP around 2011 there was 5k/10knl running in the Bellagio poker room but not in Bobby's Room. She said some rando whale went all in utg w 55 and some rando whale called the btn w KQo and 55 held and she got a huge tip. The way she told the story, it was 100% believable.
