River is fastest to solve and AFAIK if you have a solution for turn, you always have solved that turn card for 52 different river cards.
Tbh, I think it's inevitable that if even HUPLO has gotten to a point where solvers beat players, then it's pretty much time to get rid of HU altogether. If someone is able to come up with a bot with near-GTO solution, he sure as hell will find a way to utilize it. It's pretty naive to think that people would refrain from using AI tools/bots/pre-solved game trees ingame, but would be still willing to analyze their game afterwards using the same tools.
I'd really hope site's would move forward with
random blind structure (link) for 6-max, and I think it could give a little extra breath of life to HU as well, since generating solutions real-time is not feasible yet, I think.
(Cliffs for random blind structure HU: both players have 100bb stacks, and software collects 1,5bb from both players and distributes that 3bb as randomly selected SB from 0,1-2,9bb, randomly selected BB from 0,1-[what-is-left-after-deciding-SB], and then rest as antes. So you could even kinda reversed blind scenarios from time to time, e.g. BB is 0,7bb, SB is 2,0bb and 0,3bb in antes. It makes using pre-solved preflop tables basically impossible.)
