HU PLO reg here. OP did a good job of explaining why kidopham is a bot. Every single reg on the site agrees which is why there are is no-one left contesting his tables. Mind you, this is a king of the hill system so he basically gets all the action from recreational players on 5/10-25/50 on 16 tables whenever he wishes. As the screen shows he's already made at least 500k in the past 2 years.

This is a good question. Programs like solvers provide you with GTO strategies, but they are often very complicated and impossible to memorize precisely. No-one plays GTO in NLHE and PLO is even more complex. If someone's decisions correspond near 100% to solver output there is no possible way that is a human making those decisions. The threshold point where it should be considered suspect is actually a lot lower than near 100%. If you want to test that theory for yourself - take a random dozen hands that went to showdown (preferably ones that had a lot of decisions in them) from the most respected players and see how often they diverge from GTO when you put them into a solver. Someone might argue they're purposefully not playing GTO in order to exploit their opponent - fine, find a single reputable high stakes players whose majority of decisions correspond with a solver. You are not going to find one.

There are actually some simple heuristics one can use to figure out if someone is a bot/using real time software, but I would prefer not to go into detail as I expect it might give ideas to people how to hide their cheating more effectively in the future.

ACR's/BCP's reputation regarding combating bots is not that great to put it mildly, but I feel this case should get some attention, because never before has there been a case of a single account completely taking over a game format while there is no doubt in the community that he is cheating. I sent an e-mail to ACR/BCP security regarding this a little over a year ago with my reasoning on why I believe that account is a bot and offering to go into a lot more detail, but nothing was done about it. I know numerous other regs have mailed them about it as well. Obviously nothing has been done and I'm aware they probably don't have a competent security team that deals with detection, but if there was ever a case that should be made hard for them to put under the rug it's this one.

Chat confirmed heads up cash is gone on WPN. At least we got rid of the bot, now no-one can play lol. Was legit the only good site for HU cash left, KOTH and reasonable rake. RIP.

Guys, can we lobby party now to remove the .5/1 cap for HUPLO. They seem like they're actually interested in getting market share these days.

For those that don't know there is mid - high stakes HUNL on party, but HUPLO stops at .5/1 and resumes at 25/50.

This is a king of the hill format, this player holds all of the tables all day. Players are upset not because they lost to him knowingly he was a bot. They are mad because a player that they know is cheating holds the lobby all day, while they would be willing to battle other regs for a chance to have it.

When this player holds the lobby (16 hours a day at that), there's no point improving. He will simply always be better than you while putting in no effort.

It isn't about direct money loss but rather opportunity cost.

I think expecting a full refund of the 500k is unrealistic, its not even in pokerstars policy to refund the amount the player cheated for, but rather the amount they seize. Most of the money is likely gone, and the rest will be in the next few days if ACR staff don't act.

I hope this happens, but have very little faith it will. Most of that money should be returned to the recreational players who are playing him unaware. Unfortunately, a lot of these guys won't know what's happening here so that they can advocate for themselves.
