Has anyone else in the HS HUPLO community tired of the entire lobby being taken up by Kidopham, a player we all know is botting?
My credentials: This is Cory Mikesell. I make videos for RunItOnce, wrote PLO 3B Pots Game Theory and Practice and Play HS HUPLO full time on ACR and Ignition.
Evidence:
1) His hands are extremely consistent with solver outputs in almost all situations. I've done a great deal of study on short stacked HUPLO and can say with confidence that his game is perfect preflop.
2) He uses multiple sizings in every situation. At first I thought this was an indication that he was an overambitious regular who was leaking somewhere. As it turns out, all of his strange donking and mutiple sizing schemes correspond to solver outputs.
3) He only plays short. It's much easier to build a bot that plays well short. He will even pick up against recreational players when he gets deep.
4) He never sits at a 6 max table to start games. Why wouldn't a HS HU crusher start 25-50 6 handed tables? He will sit at one table of 30-60 limit Omaha occasionally. I think this his designed as a half hearted attempt to sow some doubt that he's a bot. Obviously he never gets action here
5) There is a strong consensus among HS regulars that he is a bot. He only gets action from the recreational players and newer pros that don't know who he is.
I fell into the latter category and lost 25k to this player. I don't expect ACR to give the money back, but I would like a public response from them explaining their justification for allowing this to happen.
Here's a graph to illustrate the severity of the problem:

While botting is a growing problem in online poker, never (to my knowledge) has a bot held the entire HS lobby for 12+ hours a day, everyday and taken more than half a million dollars out of the game, mostly from recreational players.
ACR's response has been tepid when I reached out via email. I along with other players have reported him and of course ACR has no desire to admit fault in order to preserve game integrity. I hope other HS regs will post in this thread so that we can finally create critical mass and have something done. Remember that while you as a 6 max professional may not be hurt by this guy directly, unaware recreational players are regularly devoured by him and that hurts everyone.
