Either way, I was googling ellix to show a buddy what he looked like after telling a few tall tales and came upon this thread. Its good to hear ellix is still alive and hustling, and that some of you still recall my glory days with him on the couch watching westerns as fondly as I do. Just dont go using a name that a parent could be upset for their kids calculus teacher. Im thinking pretty much every second of my life during the writing of that blog would constitute a fireable offense in the wrong hands.
There is no 'careful' at this point.
Your real identity is now entered into the book of Google as being associated with that blog. I'd suggest you IM a mod here, have them edit out your real name and then you have little to worry about since the cache will eventually update itself to reflect the edited content.
You can bet your ass that some high strung ******* parent would DEFINITELY have an issue with that blog and you teaching their precious little Junior.
There is a whole generation coming up that's going to have a lot of youthful indiscretions documented online for the world to see... The French are debating "Right To Forget" legislation, as far as internet data goes. It's just a totally weird thing, having stuff like this live on well after you've moved past it. This is one of those things Eric Schmidt was talking about, when he said the internet is the first thing man has created that man does not understand. The implications of this stuff can be beyond our foresight.
IM mods (they're reasonable people), have them delete your personal information from this post, then you're good.
