Hey Ed,

I apologize if I brought up your name when you didn't want that to happen. I have nothing but respect for the writing you did back then. Along with Jesse May's "Shut Up And Deal" and A. Alvarez' "The Biggest Game in Town" I think the Ellix Powers Saga is the finest bit of poker writing I've come across.

Just played with him on fulltilt.net 10/20 play money Stud Hi/Lo . He mentioned that he will be playing next Tuesday in the WSOP. Seems to be a nice guy...I asked him if he will be wearing his Fulltilt patch (he has red pro status) and he said, yes !

Ive seen him at hawaiian gardens probably 10 times. always looking homeles walking around with a janky crutch through the high limit area. never seen him play or have chips. just walk or hobble

A couple no names at the table were trying to goad him, telling him to play more hands. Saying things like “we need some excitement”. Ellix said “You want some fu**ing excitement jump out a motherfu**ing airplane without a parachute.”
