I'm really sad to hear about this. I started watching his YouTube videos in the summer of 2009 or 2010. We've communicated back and forth a few times since and he told me to let him know when I made it to Vegas for my first time ever last week and we'd meet up (also for the first time). Regretfully I was not able to communicate with him and make those plans... hope he pulls through. Such a nice guy and always with a positive smiling outlook on poker and on life.

He's been moved out of the ICU into a normal room which is a lot more comfortable for his family and friends. There hasn't been any substantial progress although that was expected. He's breathing on his own now and making progress toward the point at which his family can transport him back to Colorado.

my friend had this exact same thing happen.he was given less than 5% chance of recovery. he made a full recovery and got married last week!
